Handgun Competency Course
Regular classes are held once a month TBA, please check the calendar for available dates. Additional courses are held by appointment only.

The code of Virginia does not require individuals to pass a shooting qualification or written exam however I feel it's essential to demonstrate basic competency. All students attending are expected to fire their weapon and pass with a score of 80% or better. Students must bring a minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition as well as hearing and eye protection to attend.
